Does the Royal Golf Club offer golfing lessons? The Royal Golf Club members use the staff at Langston Golf Course for golf lessons. https://www.playdcgolf.com/private-lessons/ The Royals Golf Club also recommend Bobby Lopez of Quick Fix Golf. The site offers video analysis of your stroke and various golf techniques. https://www.quickfixgolf.com The Royals Golf Club is thrilled to have a United States Golf Teaching Federation (USGTF) certified golf professional member - Phillip Cooper who is affiliated with the club. Phillip first started playing golf when he turned 40 playing on numerous courses around the DMV with his friends while he was travelling for work. He started playing in several golf events - watching the many swings of friends and opponents. Phil started to realize that studying the game and gaining more knowledge of it would improve his skills. Being an avid golfer he started to realize that he had begun to have a passion of pursuing a golf profession. Phil enrolled in a program and became a certified instructor. As an instructor his philosophy is that no matter what level the golfer may be, “having fun” should be the #1 priority while learning and playing. The second priority is the knowledge of a strong base of fundamentals (grip, posture, aim and impact) which can, and will, lead to desirable outcomes. As a coach he is known for his patience, understanding and friendly demeanor. His point of view is to keep instruction simple and easy to understand so that an enjoyable atmosphere is created. He works with each student to design a personal improvement program to help them achieve their golfing goals… The Royals Golf Club is thrilled to have a United State Golf Teaching Federation (USGTF) certified golf profession as a member. You can contact him at (301.346.6184) or psc@pdq.net to schedule time to improve your swing - to have more fun!
