This blog page will share some of the highlights of the Royals Golf Club. The Royals Golf Club is the oldest African-American Golf Club in the Washington, DC area. Our home course is the Langston Golf Course on Benning Road, NE. The club meets on the first Saturday of every month at our Club House at 539 23rd. Pl., NE Washington, D.C.

We also support the youth throughout the DMV with our affiliation through the Professional Golfers Association - First Tee Program. We work with the First Tee instructors and share golf clubs and accessories with the youth.

We invite you to check out our website! And consider joining the Royals Golf Club on one of their weekly golf outings to experience the camaraderie that exist among the club members. New applications for membership must have a sponsor and endorsed by two regular members of the Club and accompanied by a initiation fee of $250.00. The Board of Governors will review the application and investigate the moral character and qualifications of the applicant. Annual membership dues are due on a calendar year basis and paid in full by the end of the regular monthly Club meeting in April.

Upon acceptance of application a new member you will be assigned to one of the four flights, e.g. A - D flight depending on their golf experience and ability. Pairings for foursomes for golf outings are assigned to include one player from each flight. Improve your game and techniques with tips from our veteran players while enjoying a round of golf on the links.
